About Active Listening...

When we listen to others, how often are we truly listening to them? How often are we distracting ourselves by day dreaming, preparing our next question or answer, adding judgements or ideas?

Most of us believe we are good listeners, and are understandably upset when sometimes communication with others goes wrong.

Through this 2 session evening seminar, comprising of short lectures and individual practice in pairs, you will identify your own current listening habits and learn and practice how to listen to people in a supportive way without giving advice.

You will find that by empowering others to resolve their own issues you will enhance the openness and depth of your conversations.

Orit Josefi, who devised and developed the programme and runs it in England and Israel, will be running this workshop. It is open and suitable for all.

The content of this course is spread over two evening sessions. It is vitally important that you attend both evening sessions, otherwise your training will be incomplete, and you will not gain the maximum benefit.
